Counsel of the Day

After yesterday's bizarre decision by New York state's highest court ruling that the state constitution does not prevent the legislature from prohibiting gay marriage, there were of course many reactions. One of the more interesting was from Sean Maloney, the gay candidate for New York Attorney General.

According to Azi Paybarah's Fifty First State blog, Maloney "wants gay couples to head to the City Clerk's office tomorrow" and ...

Don't leave until you're married, or arrested!

I may have to sit this one out. It's one thing to be arrested, but I'll be damned if I'm getting married.
